What is Rush?
Rush is the week during the beginning of a semester where college fraternities open their doors to potential members to become acquainted. At UF, Rush Week takes place up and down Fraternity Row on campus, and this year it starts Sunday, August 30th with a Pre-Rush Information Session (typically at the Reitz Union) and continues nightly throughout the week on Fraternity Row. All fraternities have food and events planned and interested stuedents are encouraged to visit. This is the first step to joining a fraternity and deciding which one is right for you!
